The EC FARMING network (Food and Agriculture Restoration Management Involving Networked Groups) was set up to bring together the many and diverse stakeholders who would be involved in intervention following wide scale contamination of the foodchain. The network was supported by funding from the EC over the period 2000-2004. A website was established to provide comprehensive and up-to-date information on all aspects of the FARMING network. The website has been archived and can be accessed via the links given below. A related Workshop to extend the Involvement of Stakeholders in Decisions On restoration Management (WISDOM) was organised in 2003 to promote awareness and interest in the wider application of stakeholder involvement in the formulation of strategies for the management of contaminated food production systems.
